Winter

Situated above the crowds and above the clouds, La Ferme du Soleil is a wonderful base for all sorts of exciting winter activities that take place on the doorstep:

La Ferme is situated 100 – 200 metres from the top of the nearest lift so you can literally ski in and out of the door.  And down to the next 5 lifts, restaurnts and ski school.  Over the years, Veroni has put her stamp on the house.  Throughout, it feels traditional, authentic, unique, rustic, cosy and comfortable. It is a mixture of traditional Savoyard style and modern, with both broadband and WiFi!

During the winter, the chalet is staffed and we provide meals: breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.  We create our meals with as much of the local food as possible. Cheeses from our cheese-maker neighbours, local saucissons and hams, some smoked in the huge chalet chimneys, myrtle berries – a local speciality as they grow in the surrounding alpages, local white wine, honey from the beekeepers who put their hives in the neighbouring alpages, home made bread from La Ferme; our aim is to produce authentic, unpretentious, delicious meals.
